Urban Refugee
Many people were forced to flee their homes, seeking safety in another country. Like this group, the Vietnamese Hmong had to fled persecution from their home country just because they believe in God.The photos were taken during Human Right Photography workshop organised by Realframe and Amnesty Thailand.
The set of photos aim to tell the story of how the refugee is trying to sustain their lives in the country of asylum, where they cannot exercise their rights in the country yet. To the photographer, I believe that refugee should have a right to live with dignity. They are persons with potential and competencies. Please give them opportunity, at least, to see them as a person not a burden to our society.
